Introducing Watercolors

The masters of watercolor—Albrecht Durer, Georgia O’Keefe, John Singer Sargent, William Turner, and James Whistler—created nuanced paintings rich with emotion. The Watercolors ceramic collection by Lunada Bay Tile pays homage to these famous artists through varied hues. Like miniature works of art, the tiles express a handcrafted, artisanal aesthetic through carefully curated color, from delicate to vibrant.

The Watercolors collection comes in two patterns and a coordinating liner. The simplicity of these shapes allows the soft brushstroke effects and colors to take center stage.

The collection is available in five painterly hues that would work with a variety of palettes, from cool to warm.

Another bonus: the Watercolors collection coordinates with so many other Lunada Bay Tile series, such as Mizumi Martini (below left) and Luce (below right).

While watercolor paintings often appear simple in execution, the techniques used can take years to perfect. It can be thrilling to watch a master create an image through the careful blending of pigment and water. The Watercolors collection emulates these pretty brushstrokes for an artistic effect.
